Storm Shutters are common sights in the Iapygian Sink due to the summer monsoons that effect it every year. These monsoons are not the only issues that effect the area as during the end of the summer the changing pressure can create hurricanes in the Isidis Bay and these regularly follow a path down “The Sink” with high winds and heavy rains.

These Storm Shutters are made of Plasteel allowing for dispersion of impact damage due to the materials ability to dissipate force across its internal bonds. Plasteel shutters are also very good at reducing damage from low calibre weapons popular with outland raiders.
