Los mercaderes más famosos de Nottingham ofrecen las mercancías más exclusivas, pero el siempre vigilante sheriff mantiene un férreo control sobre sus trapicheos. Los mercaderes hacen contrabando y el sheriff busca, pero ¿quién logrará pasar sus mercancías y quién será atrapado?

En El sheriff de Nottingham, los jugadores son astutos mercaderes que sobornan y engañan a la autoridad para poder cruzar las murallas de la ciudad. Cada ronda, un nuevo jugador será el sheriff, en busca de contrabando. Si el sheriff registra las mercancías de los mercaderes honestos será sancionado, mientras que, si sorprende a algún mercader pasando contrabando a la ciudad, será ese mercader quien le pague una multa. Esta 2ª edición incluye reglas para un sexto jugador, los ayudantes del sheriff y el mercado negro, para que puedas jugar partidas de gran riesgo y mayores recompensas.
