When Frydaal the Chainmaker sailed from the frozen north to Westerland, first for slaughter and then for conquest, most in the bustling palaces of Marienburg were too distracted by matters of state to treat the threat seriously. The people of the Wasteland suffered and prayed – and aid finally came from an unexpected quarter, even as greater turmoil descended upon the Empire.

The Winds of Magic Gather

This supplement returns to the war-torn Westerland, where the armies of Chaos have spread devastation and ruin, and where the defenders of the Old World battle ferociously to resist. This book provides new rules and content to empower your Wizards as they draw on additional power, a method to create Champions of the Ruinous Powers, and more, allowing you to use your collection of Chaos-worshipping Marauders, Warriors, and Knights in new and exciting ways.

This 48-page softcover supplement contains:
– The Storm Gathers: Background detailing the stirring of the Hordes of Chaos, the resistance of the warriors of Grand Cathay and the Empire, and the growing turmoil of the Winds of Magic.
– The Winds of Magic: Optional new rules for magic, empowering Wizards and giving them a range of exciting new ways to control and manipulate the Winds of Magic, including Arcane Magic Ploys.
– Champions of the Ruinous Powers: Let fate and the roll of the dice strengthen your Champions of Chaos with boons from the Dark Gods.
– The Hordes of Chaos: A new Army of Infamy, combining the Warriors of Chaos and Beastmen Brayherds.
– Corrupted Magic Items: Powerful, but dangerously corrupt common magic items.

This is an expansion to Warhammer: The Old World – you'll need a copy of the Warhammer: The Old World Rulebook, Warhammer: The Old World – Forces of Fantasy, and Warhammer: The Old World – Ravening Hordes, all available separately, to use the contents of this supplement.
